The best kinda Labor...

There is physical labor, and feet in the stirrups labor. I think the best kind of labor is Labor day weekend! Our friends at apiratesparadise.net were hosting a paintball event this weekend and Dave got to play. It had been too long since he last played.

The event was a charity event in honor of a 10-year old girl and her uncle that died at a Utah paintball event earlier in the year. It was cold and rainy, so they had a space heater in their tent. There was not enough ventilation, and they asphyxiated themselves. The story just breaks my heart. The girl, and her whole family were paintball fans/players. So this one was for them:

Here is what Dave looks like after a weekend of paint-balling...

I just sit behind a desk with Claudia and help with the event. There is a lot less bruises that way! But just being there with our friends and being Dave's cheerleader is so much fun.

Then on Monday we celebrated Labor day and more importantly Tim's birthday.

This is Claudia's niece...she makes the FUNNIEST faces....

...that is when Oliver isn't attached to it!!


We ate, played kick ball and had a great time. The boys had fun playing with the memorial cannons at the park.
