Happy Pinterest Day....

I have to admit that I am addicted to Pinterest.
I got every single Valentines idea I used this year from it.
I got the idea to do "14 Days of Valentines" starting Feb.1st.
I decided to do it to the boys. The first day I was so annoyed with them. I just left the gift on the counter. By the second day I realized that its not going to be a secret gift thing since they already knew it was me. But decided to try to make it fun anyway.

I rang the doorbell then ran around the house and went in the garage door. I figured they would know it was me, but they didn't! Even with the first days gift sitting right on the counter with the same kind of tag.

Geniuses.
So I kept sneaking around. By the 4th day they decided they were going to catch the bandit. They were staking out the front of the house.

By day 5 they were accusing everyone, but I was the main suspect. As Coleman put it, "The past 2 days you volunteered to take out the trash...and you usually make us do it!" Then they finally remembered the first gift that I gave them and were little sleuths comparing the fonts.

So Dave, Brooke and others help throw them off my scent. My favorite night I had told them I heard something outside. They all rushed to see if anyone was outside. After they all verified it was a false alarm and went inside I dropped the gift right before closing the door. Valentine's Day I reviled myself with a 'date coupon' tied to a balloon for each of them.

For class Valentines we took pictures and inserted suckers.
They even got to insert a little of their own personalities.
Zachary for some pre-teen strange reason has started walking around randomly saying...'i like cheese'. So he said o on his valentines:
Coleman has followed Zachs example, and professed his love for waffles:
Ben was quite in character:
Oliver just poured on the cute:

Dave got my favorite Valentine ever.
A deck of cards with 52 things I like about him.
At first I thought it would be hard to think of that many.
I got to about 25-20 without any problems. Then I slowed down a bit. That was really the fun part because I spent the next week looking for things about him that made me smile-or sometimes roll my eyes.
Some of the things that made the list are:
"You play dress-up."
"You can name fonts on site"
"You get more excited about Disneyland trips then the kids"
"Your kids want to be you when they grow up"

For the full list you are going to have to ask Dave to see the deck.

Although I set the bar high with my deck of love, Dave did pretty good. I got these beauties at work on Valentine's day.
(now Im going to have to add another card to the deck)
