Zachary and all Virgin Valley second grade students took a field trip to the Valley of Fire State park in Overton, NV last Wednesday. Dave and I were both lucky enough to tag along on. Students took a tour of the facilities there and saw petrified wood that was over 200 million years old and took a hike that provided up close viewing of art work left by our most earliest settlers. Seen in the pictures is 3,000 year-old Indian petroglyph.
