"I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always"....

I told him I would lock him in his room the whole day, so Coleman's 6th birthday wouldn't find him. I'd do it too if I thought it'd work. But since kids just have to grow up, we decided to have fun and pretend to enjoy it.

We went swimming, and had fun at a ward Primary water party.

Then we took Coleman to Wal-Mart let him pick out any bike he wanted, Against his mother's better judgment he picked out this beast:

We couldn't get out town early enough yesterday, so tonight we took Coleman to his favorite place in the world. Pirate Island Pizza. He even got to bring his best friend in the world, Bridger.

So when I get sad and pout that my babies just keep getting bigger and bigger, Coleman climbs on my lap and tells me that no matter what, he will always be my baby. He is such a fun, creative, hilarious, and loving little boy. I hope one day I am half as cool as he is.

This is my favorite of both Zach and Cole. Coleman is crying because Zachary gets to drive the tractor first...and Zachary is...well, Zachary.

Amazement in Disneyland

Coleman just walked up to Chicken Little and told him, "The sky is falling!"

This is at a character breakfast. Alice came all the way from Wonderland and Coleman would not talk to her, or even look at her.

One day when Coleman was home sick I played play doe with him and we made sponge bob characters!


The day we brought Ben home from the hospital Coleman couldn't take his eyes off him. It was the coolest toy we ever got!

This is one of Dave's all time proudest moments as a father.
After getting trained at the Jedi Academy,
Coleman took on the big guy.

Coleman loves anything Papa loves. He absolutely loves being called mini-Dave.


He is quite creative. One day at the paintball field Coleman made
a bow and arrow from twigs and rope....

...and here he made "HE-MAN" from his fort pieces!

Usually Coleman is such a ham. He loves pictures being taken of him day and night. However in this series you see what happens if he isn't in the mood for the paparazzi.

I took a picture of Coleman's profile, he turned to complain about it and I took another, so then he really started crying. After the 3rd shot he ran to his room and locked me out.
