Last weekend we took a trip to Zion's. I love this time of year there. It is the 'off' season so there are less people and we get to drive through the park in our own car instead of having to take the buses.
We saw a lot o deer up close. They weren't to afraid of the approaching kids- which is more then most humans can even say.
The kids are doing the Jr. Ranger program to earn a badge. We stopped in the lodge so they could as a question about a tree and Oliver and Ben played a game of chess. (Or as Coleman says, "a game of chest". I told him he couldn't play til he was married.
The snow was melting off so there were several waterfalls in areas that do not usually have them. One more reason to love the off season!
